Parts vs Current Supply Chain

Updated: Oct 20, 2022

As many know, the current climate can be tough, re the drop in the NZD, as well as the post-Covid issues with supply chains, such as end-of-line items, manufacturers not able to keep up with world-wide supply demands, and also shipping issues. We have recently been asked, even by some Dealers, to also supply customers with parts, due to the current delay in supply chains.

At Euro Italian Car Parts NZ Ltd, we still have access to various suppliers, and also networks across NZ, and globally. Whilst there are some issues, we offer the following services: 1. Overseas orders, with a two-week turnaround period with expedited shipping 2. We are more than happy to discuss in-stock *price-matching* locally, or internationally, providing you can state supplier pricing/code(s)/overseas dollar value-matching + shipping (*currency rates considering, on the day!) 2. Indent orders for wholesalers, retailers and collectors, for bulk items from our German manufacturers 3. A nationwide network of suppliers and BMW collectors and Clubs, where we can sometimes source 'hard to procure' parts (especially for older models)

Of course, there are delays, at present, so things may not always go correctly to plan, especially with larger orders. Yet, for those with project vehicles, especially older E21, E28, E30 etc. BMW models, older Alfas as 33s, older Fiat models, this means we can procure parts at a better cost with bulk orders from our European suppliers. We have also negotiated with some suppliers re older parts for these, as well as have some bulk items already in-stock - so ask us! For parts such as BMW electrical components, window regulators, braking, water-cooling systems and lights, we can often procure these overnight from some of our supplier networks.
